About the job The Security Consultant is responsible for the proper and accurate handling of support request, new technology implementation at Help AG customer in Abu Dhabi. ❖ Proper and accurate use of tools (Ticket System, Time Tracking) and documentation of the tickets ❖ Implement, configure and fine tune Fortinet Firewall, NAC, endpoint and Firemon solutions ❖ Follow-up on any escalations in time. ❖ When required to work on projects, POC and documentation. The primary targets are customer-satisfaction, professionalism, accuracy and an outstanding high quality in the work/duties. Responsibilities Serve as the customer’s go-to resource for all matters related to the Fortinet firewall. Deliver best practices guidance for managing Fortinet firewalls. Assist in identifying customer-specific requirements and provide solutions. Answer questions about the product capabilities, features and configuration. Assist customer team with the design and placement of Fortinet devices. Evaluate deployment scenarios both locally and globally. Assist with technology integration questions. Plan migration tasks. Analyze existing rules and objects. Optimize and migrate policies and objects from existing environment to Fortinet firewalls. Test and validate migration environment. Coordinate and execute cutover to production. Work with security teams to provide ongoing firewall management Firemon solution. Facilitate development of new application and threat signatures. Help customer with managing licenses. Work with customer to request new features. Facilitate discussions between customer and product management to review roadmaps. Work with support to troubleshoot product issues. Provide on-site assistance for knowledge transfer with operational personnel. Train customer how to access support, knowledge base, and other available services Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information security or IT-related matter or equivalent experience Deep understanding of technical relations in a complex environment An advantage to have experience and the certifications of the vendors Fortinet and Firemon solutions.
